Government Funding

Copthorne Kinders offers funding for children aged 9 months and above (this can be claimed the term after your child turns 9 months old).

 

​The Early Years Free Entitlement is allocated for 38 weeks a year.

We are an all-round setting operating over 51 weeks a year ( closing over the Christmas holiday period ) . Therefore we offer funding over 51 weeks a year, this is known as stretched funding.

 

Funding is offered during our session times: 8am-1pm, 1pm -6pm, 8am -6pm.

Any hours attended outside your child’s funded sessions are charged at our usual hourly rate.

Lunch and tea charges apply on funded days (please ask for our current meal charges). 

 

 

​(Our local authority states that meal charges must be voluntary, however we strongly recommend children eat our nutritious nursery food, which is cooked fresh daily by our nursery chef. In addition, some children have severe allergies , hence any food brought into the nursery must be closely monitored and in line with our healthy eating policy. Please speak to the nursery management if you have any questions about meals).
